Port Elizabeth Divesite Wreck of the Patti

The wreck of the Patti lies on Thunderbolt Reef in about 8-12 meters of water. It is a favourite yellowtail spot and the area offers bonito most of the year for fishermen with lures.
The engine block is clearly visible as it juts out the water. The ship went down with a load of cement and the bags, actually the cement, is clearly visible where it solidified. This wreck certainly will outlast most.

This is what the wreck looks like from on a boat.

Wanna see some of it under the water?

Here is a youtube link to my channel showing part of the wreck - I swam in along the driveshaft.
